"Dzintars" has a history dating back to 1849 where a German businessman started a small factory producing candles and packaging of perfumes and eau de colognes imported from France. Since 1st of April 1974, Dzintars has been under the professional management of Dr. oec I.Z. Gerchikov who is a member of the Baltic Informatization Academy. Now, it is the largest biocosmetics and perfumery manufacturer in the Baltics with more than 350 item produced in accordance with the European CosmeticDirective and the rules of the International Fragrance Association (IFRA). Having a workforce of over 600 dedicated employees, Dzintars strongly believe in quality and is internationally certified by KOSMETIK-GMP and ISO 9001:200 with numerous awards gained.Dzintars does total process including manufacturing of it's own plastic components to further control the finest quality of their products.

A/S ATEC Latvia is proud to be associated with this prestigious company since 2002 by being the supplier of ATEC plastic injection moulding machines and auxillary equipments in their plastic production line. To date, Dzintars has 7 ATEC injection moulding machines ranging from 80 tons till 210 tons.

Auxillary equipments like hopper dryers, auto loaders, crushers and dehumidifiers supplied by A/S ATEC further improve the quality of the plastic components as demanded by Dzintars. A/S ATEC Latvia also provides Mastip hot runner systems to their moulds producing cosmetic jars.
